Butcher dates for 2025 are as follows:

  • October 28th
  • November 4th

Meat is typically ready for pick-up about two weeks after your butcher date.

 

This is the deposit only.

 

Pork is sold by the hanging weight at $2.89/lb - $2.69/lb and Kingbird Cattle will provide you with a final invoice for the remainder due after we gather hanging weight information from the butcher.

 

Customer pays processing directly to the butcher at time of pick-up.

 

Estimated Total Cost:

  • 1/2 - $410 - $520
  • Whole - $820 - $990

 

Please note that processing costs vary greatly for hogs. Price is dependent on which items you would want smoked, and what you choose to do with the ground portion of your hog. For example, a customer who elects straight ground pork and fresh hams is going to have a significantly lower processing cost than a customer who wishes for the ground to be made into breakfast links and smokes their hams. Estimated costs are just that, estimates.

  • Once your deposit is recieved, we will reach out to you to find out which of our butcher dates work best for your schedule! Beef will ready for pick-up roughly two weeks after the butcher date. If you are unable to make the trip to the butcher, we can arrange a meet-up at one of our drop-off locations in Green Bay or Milwaukee. You can select your pick-up preference during checkout.
